For the past nine years Connections IT INC has worked with a variety of clients to create easy to use surveillance and IT systems.  Currently, casino video surveillance makes up some 60 percent of ConnectionsIT’s business with the remaining coming from managed IT services. The company has 30 employees and offices in California, Nevada and Oklahoma.

ConnectionsIT partners with the leading security and IT product and service, and has a professional staff that provides 24/7 support to all of its clients and installs.  Client service and satisfaction is the number one goal of ConnectionsIT.

Our Team

Victoria Carlson serves as President.  Victoria has worked with Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce Ambassador program to help rebuild their membership program. Victoria has also worked with fundraising for several sport programs in Santa Rosa city schools. Victoria has been with Connections IT since 2000. Victoria also has Certification in Cisco CSE, HTML 3.2,4, Java Script,and Desktop support.

Brody Carlson, CIO of Connections IT, has 10 years of front-line system integration experience in trouble-shooting and repairing existing casino video surveillance systems. Brody has a degree in criminal justice and served in the Marine Corps for 10 years as a tactical officer in an air defense unit. Brody was a Reserve Police Officer for 15 years. He is certified as a CCNP, MSCE, CSE, CCA and CCSP.

Courtney Ketelsen, Sales/Marketing for Connections IT Courtney has 3 years of product and project development for exciting and new clients. Courtney has a degree in behavioral science. Courtney is a volunteer for several after school programs in Sonoma County.

Zoe Tassencourt is the Senior Technical Manager for Connections IT. Zoe has been in the IT business for 20 years and has worked for ConnectionsIT for the past 8 years.  Prior to her present assignment,Zoe developed and taught the CNE and MCSE training programs for a local vocational school and official Microsoft Training Center, in addition to managing the school’s 80-node network.  Zoe holds a BA from Virginia Commonwealth University as well as current CNE and MCSE certifications.

Chris DeFreitas is a Senior Network Engineer for Connections IT. Chris has a Cisco CCNA, Comptia A+ certification and over ten years of experience in the field. His favorite areas include the Microsoft Server platform and Cisco network environment. When his head is not buried in a computer, you’ll find it in a helmet while he’s touring on his motorcycle.

Jay Mikel has worked on hundreds of commercial projects and brings more than a decade of security industry experience to the company.He has a proven track record for large and small scale project management.

Randy Dodson handles the purchasing at ConnectionsIT. Randy has over 15 years experience in the procurement industry. He has a Specialized Associate Degree in Information Technology with a Microsoft Concentration.  Randy’s CompTIA certifications include A+, Network + and Security+.

Brent Swinth is an AUTO CAD Drafter. He has a degree in Liberal Studies from Chico State University and a Certificate from the Civil Engineering Tech program at Santa Rosa Junior College.  He has over three years experience as an Instructional Assistant at Santa Rosa Junior College for the Applied Technologies and Civil Engineering programs and still frequently volunteers in the classroom. Before joining ConnectionsIT, Brent was a civil engineering tech.
